Respiratory Therapist

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• Graduation from an accredited School for Respiratory Therapy

Preferred:

• One (1) year experience as a Respiratory Therapist

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

• New York State Respiratory Therapy Permit or License
• Registered by the NBRC as a Respiratory Therapist
• CPR and ACLS Certification within 3 months of hire

Work Environment

• Work is performed on all patient care units mostly at bedside. Ability to push equipment. Limited access to O2 outlets.
