Clinical Research CoordinatorAs part of the Department of Psychiatry, Neurodevelopment and Psychosis Division, the Penn Psychosis Evaluation and Recovery Center (PERC) offers consultations on diagnosis, treatment, support and skill development for adolescents and young adults (ages 16-35 years) who exhibit warning signs of emerging psychosis or early psychosis, and their families. The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for providing support for PERC staff, patients and family members. Position contingent upon funding.The Psychosis Evaluation and Recovery Center (PERC) in the Neurodevelopment and Psychosis Section of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to:Provide supported employment and education services (SEES) at the PERC clinic offices, in the community, or virtuallyConduct screenings of referred individuals to help determine program eligibility, appointment scheduling and billingProvide administrative support for PERC operations, including referral tracking, eligibility screening coordination, appointment scheduling, billing-related coordination, documentation, database entry, and other clinic/program support tasks as neededDevelop relationships with potential employers, educational programs, and job training organizations to support participants' employment, education, and training goalsThe Clinical Coordinator will provide SEES services under the supervision of the SEES Supervisor and work closely with the Team Lead and to provide individualized care to young people with early psychosis as part of a multidisciplinary care team. SEES are an essential component of coordinated specialty care for early psychosis and include supporting the young person in exploring interests and goals, navigating educational and employment pathways and programs, pursuing employment opportunities including assistance with job searches, applications, resumes, and interviews, school or training program navigation, and providing support around academic or workplace accommodations.Qualifications: Bachelor degree in a health related field and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The person will be trained in SEES through the Individual Placement and Support Employment Center. The applicant should be comfortable working with young persons, their families, and the public, including school professionals and employers involved with PERC participants. The applicant should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and writing skills are required. Must be able to adhere to all confidentiality requirements at all times. Must be able to work in a team environment and may be expected to work in the field. Experience with computerized databases is essential. Applicant should be able to multi-task and shift from one project to another depending upon priority.Job Location - City, State: Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaDepartment / School: Perelman School of MedicinePay Range: $47,313.00 - $50,000.00 Annual RateSalary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
