Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital position requiring at least 1 year of acute care experience and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Details

• Inpatient acute care hospital setting with physical therapy and inpatient rehab responsibilities
• Both part-time and full-time schedules are available
• Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Weekend rotation approximately every 6–7 weeks; a day off is provided the week before and after each weekend worked
• Holidays are rotated, with approximately one holiday worked per year
• Epic EMR is used and experience is required
• Local candidates are accepted provided they reside beyond a 70-mile radius of the facility

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care physical therapy experience required
• Comfort with both acute care and inpatient rehab evaluation required
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid state PT license required if applicable (pending licensure may be considered)
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Must be clean-shaven at the time of mask fit testing — facial hair that prevents a proper mask seal is not permitted, with no exceptions

Additional Information

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital experience is preferred but not required
• Attire: Caribbean blue scrubs or khakis with a lab coat
• Respiratory protection uses standard fit-tested masks; CAPRs and PAPRs are not available or permitted for use by travelers at this facility
