We approach each client's unique design needs with our combined strengths in architecture, interiors, mechanical/electrical/plumbing engineering, landscape architecture, and planning. This Opportunity OB/A is currently seeking a full-time Marketing Professional to work under the direction of the Principal/Business Development Leader to achieve the firm’s overall marketing and business development goals. This position is based in Durham (Research Triangle Park vicinity), NC. It is in-person. Overview of Responsibilities and Duties Lead tracking. Proposal and Statements of Qualifications preparation - including solicitation of information from consultants. Experience using InDesign is a must! Interviews - manage the prep, strategy session scheduling, coordinate supporting messaging graphics; post interview internal debriefs. Social media and website updates Organization and updating of all marketing-related files such as photography, proposal hard copies, etc. Business research, intel, stay abreast of industry trends, competitor-doings, and communicate same. Working with Technical Staff, develop accurate marketing content, project descriptions, resumes, and other necessary collateral. Represent the firm as requested and assist with coordinating sponsorships, conferences, and networking opportunities (payment processing, table invitees, coordination of those travel logistics and reminders). Working with leadership, identify OB/A Clients for Holiday gifts coordinating purchases and delivery. Special projects as assigned. What You Offer Experience! Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams); WordPress for website knowledge is a plus. Proficiency in the preparation of SF330 and 254 forms (yes, some public entities still use the SF254). Experience with social media platforms including Instagram and LinkedIn. SMPS active membership experience is a plus. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or demonstrated equivalent. Minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience. Experience in the A/E/C industry is highly preferred. Superior client (your internal OB/A colleagues and occasionally outside clients) service mentality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Graphic design talent and software (as noted above) proficiency. Working with the team, a willingness and ability to work after hours and/or on weekends, if necessary, sometimes at short notice, to meet deadlines. Strong business sense, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work as a team player and independently. Ability to constructively receive and respond to professional feedback. Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently and work within tight deadlines. Excellent people skills – a sense of humor is a plus! Salary and exact Title will be commensurate with experience.
