Energy Operations Manager

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leading the day-to-day energy team, including refined fuels, propane, and lubricants.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

·         Manage daily activities for bulk fuel and propane drivers.

·         Responsible for supervising energy drivers, technicians and service station managers.

·         Responsible for all bulk plants, retail facilities and equipment.

·         Work collectively with location employees to assure safe and profitable growth in all product areas at locations.

·         Communicate with customers on products and services, and deliveries.

·         Coordinate and communicate with sales personnel to complete customer deliveries and department operations efficiently, and on time.                                                   

·         Promotes and sells petroleum products to new and existing customers.

·         Collaborations with other departments within the cooperative: agronomy, grain, feed

·         Provides excellent customer service by managing difficulty or emotional situations; respond promptly to employee and customer needs. Resolve questions, complaints and concerns immediately and meet commitments.

·         Effectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees, and management.

·         Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements. (OSHA, DOT, environmental, etc.)

·         Support operations for various locations and departments within the company.

·         Other duties assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum Requirements : High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Preferred Requirements ; bachelor’s degree and experience in energy operations or related business.
