They help maintain a safe, caring environment while working with the healthcare team to support patient well-being.Full Time and Part Time available. This position is eligible for applicable shift differentials.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Assist patients with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and using the bathroomHelp patients move safely, including transfers and using wheelchairs, walkers, or canesProvide nursing care by performing medical tasks including vital signs, weight, finger-stick blood tests, ECGs, and breathalyzer tests. Collect specimens for point-of-care testing as needed.Make sure patients eat, drink, and stay hydratedAssist with room searches, skin assessments, conduct patient safety checks are requiredGuide patients for scheduled medications, provider visits, lab tests, groups and activities, etc.Monitor medical supply inventory and replenish stockProvide assistance during admissions, transfers, and dischargesProvide emotional support and help during emergencies and/or crisis situations. For patient care needs, this is an on-site role. Consistently move self about patient care areas. Occasionally lift and move medical equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance. Ability to verbally communicate related to patient care. Consistent computer and phone, general office equipment use. Update medical records while in a stationary position up to 30% of the time.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalentCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in NYS preferred.Related experience in healthcare, nursing, or behavioral health.
