About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local routes in Lafayette, LA.

Pay & Schedule Details

Pay: $23 Per Hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am start

Job Details

Route Type: Local
Freight / Load Type: Delivering Electrical Supplies to customers
Equipment: Day cab with flatbed 48'. Automatic Transmission
Handling: Driver loads their own trucks with sit-down forklifts, but the customer unloads.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate CDL A on local routes
Transport electrical supplies in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
Perform required handling tasks including loading their own trucks with sit-down forklifts
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
Meet the physical demands of the role

Minimum Requirements

Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
License: CDL A
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
