Tanker Driver

Job Details Position: Tanker Driver, CDL A HAZMAT Primary Location: 1660 Campbell Street, Toledo, OH 43607 Schedule: Full-Time Hourly Reports To: Regional Driver Manager Compensation: $30.47 - $33.50 per hour USD, depending on qualifications Signing Bonus: $5,000 signing bonus. If employment ends voluntarily or for cause within 12 months, the full bonus is repayable within 60 days of separation. Responsibilities Load, transfer, and unload raw product from a tanker truck Transport and unload chemicals into customers’ tanks safely and with required paperwork Safely handle hoses during loading and unloading Perform pre and post-trip inspections Comply with all Company, Customer Federal, State, and Local laws, rules and regulations Become familiar with plant operating procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum two (2) years of recent tractor/tanker experience Minimum one (1) year of recent tanker experience Valid Commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A, with appropriate hazmat and tanker endorsements A clean driving record for the past three (3) years Physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide a valid medical card Proof of experience or training to operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade safely Physical Requirements Employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally required to climb stairs/ladders (including vertical) Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Must be "fit for duty" Benefits Fitness reimbursement program Health & Dental Premiums paid by Chemtrade Paid maternity leave EAP assistance to family members Company subsidized health premiums Basic AD&D Insurance Paid life Insurance for employees and dependents Disability Insurance 401K Retirement Home Every Night (i.e., commute free) Top of Line, company-maintained equipment Newer Trucks and Trailers Culture of Safety and Inclusion Free Uniforms and PPE Dedicated Dispatch Paid Orientation Support for Professional Licenses Roadside Assistance Fleet Card Program Chemtrade Benefits Highlight Booklet #J-18808-Ljbffr
