Like every member of our team, we will rely on you to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.What you'll do:Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systemsTravel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional mannerAssist in the training of lower level technicians as neededMaintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basisAssist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & partsOther duties assigned as neededRequirements:High School diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with acceptable driving record3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and toolsAdvanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of toolsStrong mechanical background knowledge of various enginesMust own tools applicable to positionSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.Must be able to work a flex schedule on a weekly rotationThis position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
