AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Norfolk, VA currently seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their Special Education team. The position is 35 hours per week and is open to both licensed SLPs and Clinical Fellows, with supervision and support available. SLPs in this district work with students across grade levels to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Responsibilities include conducting screenings and evaluations, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing direct therapy services, and collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, Clinical Fellowship School
Experience: CF SLP - Clinical Fellowship Accepted

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
State SLP License in State of Residence

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
