Lead Technical Recruiter

Role Description

As a Lead Technical Recruiter at TRM Labs, you will be the senior individual-contributor backbone of the team, owning complex and high-stakes technical searches, setting the bar for craft across the function, and mentoring recruiters.

• Own end-to-end delivery on TRM's most complex, ambiguous, or highest-priority technical searches.
• Set the sourcing, evaluation, and closing standard for the function.
• Act as a thought partner to hiring managers and executives on hiring strategy.
• Mentor and coach recruiters across the team on sourcing craft and stakeholder management.
• Identify and close gaps in recruiting systems, tools, and processes.
• Build and share market intelligence that shapes hiring plans.
• Create spaces for honest feedback and productive disagreement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical recruiting experience in high-growth, US-headquartered tech startups.
• Demonstrated ability to run multiple high-complexity searches simultaneously.
• A history of raising the bar for others through mentorship or informal coaching.
• Sharp first-principles thinker comfortable pushing back on hiring managers with data.
• Fluent in translating messy, cross-functional hiring problems into clear plans.
• Strong operational instincts, comfortable owning improvements to sourcing tools.
• Exceptional, concise communicator who builds trust quickly.
• A bias toward ownership: thinks like they run the function.

Requirements

• Within 72 hours of receiving a position, schedule the intake meeting and open the position in the ATS.
• Within a week of opening a position, conduct 5-10 Recruiter Screens and sync with the Hiring Team.
• Two weeks after initial interviews, analyze data to identify driving factors for pass rates and conversions.

Benefits

• Estimated base salary range: $172,500 - $196,000.
• Eligibility to participate in TRM’s equity plan.
