Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located in Saint Louis, Missouri, at a Childrens Acute Care Hospital. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients, including NICU and/or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Missouri license or compact license (no issuance if tied to another compact state), license in hand required at time of submittal, 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, certifications including Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); BLS certification required initially, others preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: NICU and/or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience, EMR experience with EPIC system, experience with aerosol setup masks and trach, high risk delivery assistance, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), oscillating ventilator, and inhaled Flolan.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with aerosol setups, airway management, ventilator troubleshooting, and pediatric-specific respiratory procedures.
• Special Requirements: Must have NICU and/or PICU experience.
• Vaccination: Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required.
• Submission Requirements: Submit without license OK; requires Missouri or compact license (no issuance if tied to another compact state). License in hand required at time of submittal.
