Senior Director, Experience Strategy and Optimization

Position Overview

Ignite Visibility is seeking a Senior Director of Experience Strategy and Optimization to lead Creative and Conversion Rate Optimization Strategy.

This senior leadership role combines experience strategy, creative direction, optimization, commercial solutioning, and people leadership. The Senior Director will help Ignite win new business, expand strategic client relationships, strengthen retention, and elevate the quality of our experience-led work.

The ideal candidate can move comfortably between executive client conversations, sales solutioning, experience research, creative and CRO strategy, and team leadership. This person will work closely withWeb Development, Sales, Client Services, and PMO to connect strategy, design, experimentation, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Ignite’s Creative and CRO strategy function, including team development, staffing, utilization, quality, and performance.
• Develop experience-led strategies that connect customer research, UX/UI, creative, CRO, analytics, and Web Development.
• Support priority new-business pursuits by shaping solutions, participating in discovery, developing recommendations, and presenting to executive stakeholders.
• Identify and develop expansion opportunities across existing client accounts and strategic partner networks.
• Lead digital experience audits, customer journey assessments, research initiatives, and optimization roadmaps.
• Translate research, analytics, and customer insights into clear, tangible recommendations that clients can understand and act upon.
• Establish repeatable methodologies, deliverables, case studies, sales materials, and quality standards.
• Partner with Creative, CRO, and Web Development teams to ensure strategic recommendations translate effectively into execution.
• Provide senior strategic oversight for priority client engagements while partnering with PMO and delivery leads on day-to-day execution.
• Develop recurring experience strategy, creative, and optimization offerings that can flex based on client needs.
• Help protect and grow strategic client relationships through stronger executive engagement, delivery quality, and proactive recommendations.
• Manage work within approved staffing, utilization, and margin expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across digital experience strategy, UX, creative, CRO, digital consulting, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary Creative, UX/UI, research, or optimization teams.
• Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research, customer journeys, usability, analytics, experimentation, and conversion optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and present strategic recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
• Experience supporting new-business pitches, solution development, account expansion, or consultative sales.
• Ability to connect business goals, customer needs, creative strategy, technology, and measurable performance.
• Strong portfolio of experience strategy, UX, creative, research, or optimization work.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Experience managing teams, developing talent, and improving the quality and consistency of work.
• Agency or consulting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with enterprise, franchise, multi-location, or portfolio-brand organizations is a plus.
