Ultimate Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant at Autumn Lake at Chevy Chase . Help skilled nursing residents make meaningful progress with everyday movement through hands-on treatment, patient instruction, and coordination with the supervising Physical Therapist.

What You'll Do

Deliver prescribed physical therapy interventions within each resident's established plan of care.
Guide exercises that develop strength, balance, and endurance for daily activities.
Practice walking, bed mobility, and transfers using assistance appropriate to residents' abilities and precautions.
Reinforce safe movement techniques and proper use of prescribed mobility equipment.
Observe treatment responses and communicate changes in symptoms, function, or participation to the supervising PT.
Complete timely treatment records and collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues to support mobility outside therapy sessions.

Qualifications

Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license.
Ability to follow individualized care plans with attention to resident safety.
Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
Skilled nursing or post-acute experience is helpful; new graduates are welcome to apply .
