Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a School PCAs to work with students who require instructional, environmental/classroom, and personal care support. This position will start in August of 2026 and follow the '26 - '27 school year calendar. Positions are available at two districts in Parkesburg and Kennett Square.

Hourly Pay: 18/hr + *experienced based

Responsibilities:

• May ride the bus to and from school with patient
• Address students medical needs to allow them to attend school in a traditional setting and make progress towards their educational goals
• Assist with redirection of behaviors and ensure student safety
• Support students by reviewing and following their school IEP and BIPs
• Assistance with personal care activities such as toileting
• Takes and records oral and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered
• Assists with mobility, positioning, transfers, and using transfer/mobility devices as applicable

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience acting as a Home Health Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills preferred
• Computer proficiency preferred
• Successful completion of background screening and onboarding process required
• Successful completion of Maxim Orientation and Compliance training, and all other assigned trainings as applicable required
• Successful completion of Maxim's Competency Program required
• Proficiency in the English language required
• Current certificate as applicable per state and / or client requirement
