Job title: Low Voltage Systems Technician-IV

Location: Nashville, TN

Position: Direct Hire

Pay range: $25-$35

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for reading and understanding assigned project documentation including plans and specifications.
• Install, program, analyze, diagnose, and repair complex integrated low-voltage systems, including troubleshooting issues that may be related to network architecture, protocols or other network related factors.
• Complete major systems integrations, including system commissioning.
• Communicate with subcontractors and coordinate work with subcontractors as required to ensure efficient and timely completion of work.
• Conduct all customer interactions to drive a high degree of customer satisfaction. Identify and communicate opportunities to improve the value PTI can provide to customers, including communicating potential leads to appropriate resources.
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely and complete manner.
• Maintain all company property and supplies, including but not limited to vehicles, tools, uniforms, parts, and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including attending training classes when offered.

Job Skills

• Access control and IP video hardware and software installation experience are a must.
• Genetec, Software House, Lenel, Vanderbilt, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, and Hanwha, certifications are strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in network architecture and protocols, database management, and fiber optics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with customers in a way that will best drive customer commitment and satisfaction.
• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Attention to detail.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude.
• Overtime with short notice may be required.
• Available for travel, which may include nights and weekends.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED with formal electrical training required.

Experience

• 5+ years Security industry experience
• 3+ years in a lead-technician or other leadership role.

Employee Requirements

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends, if required.
• Must be available for travel if required.
• Be able to lift at least 60 pounds above waist.
