Unlike some positions, this one gives you a better idea of the number of hours each week holds, which means you'll have a better idea of what to expect in every paycheck. And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments. * CDL-A is not required as the switcher will not leave the property. * As a Dedicated Yard Switcher, you can expect: This is an entry level position, a CDL-A license is not required Competitive pay: Average $1,540 per week / $80,080 a year (minimum) Starting pay of $28 per hour Average 50 hours a week Overtime paid at time and a half Home daily Sunday - Thursday 10-hour shifts with one hour for lunch Shifts below are assigned weekly: 6:30 p.m. - 4:30 a.m. 7:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. All drop and hook , no-touch freight!
