About the Position

Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Surgical Tech (CST) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years, Trauma Level I experience required License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA required Must-Have: Must have 3s and 4s in Neuro and Trauma. Must have Level I Trauma experience. Minimum 2 years experience with Trauma, Neuro, Ortho Trauma, and Totals. Experience with Neuro Spine, Basic Craniotomy, and VP shunt required. Experience with Aneurysm case for Neuro call is necessary. Description: This position requires a skilled surgical technologist with expertise in a variety of surgical procedures. The candidate must have extensive experience in trauma and neuro surgery. Key skill sets should include proficiency in laparoscopic and general surgical procedures. Candidates should also have experience with cystoscopy and stent placements. Familiarity with DaVinci surgical systems is preferred. The position requires the ability to work within a surgical team and adapt quickly to changing environments. Candidates will be required to float within facilities as necessary. Travel experience is required. Availability for on-call duties, particularly in neuro, is essential. Qualified candidates should provide availability for interviews when submitting applications.
