ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Account Representative for Craig Martin - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs. 
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed. 
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
• Experience in managing customer relationships preferred.
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
• Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
• Dedicated to customer service.
• Able to anticipate customer needs.
• Able to effectively relate to customers.

I became a State Farm agent at just 22 years old, and 34 years later, I still love what I do. I was drawn to this career because I wanted work that offered purpose, fulfillment, and the opportunity to continually challenge myself while being rewarded for hard work and results. Helping people make sound decisions about managing risk and protecting what they’ve worked for continues to make this career meaningful.

I’m a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a degree in Finance and played college football. Outside of the office, I’m married and a proud dad of twin boys. Our family loves everything Central Florida has to offer—from the people and lakes to great restaurants, entertainment, and theme parks.

Today, our team includes 11 professionals and more than 100 years of combined insurance experience. We’re proud to be recognized as a State Farm Chairman’s Circle and Ambassador for Life agency, reflecting our commitment to strong performance and exceptional service. Giving back is equally important to us. Our team supports the community through initiatives such as toy drives benefiting homeless children through Matthew’s Hope Ministry and other local events and causes.
