Our award-winning range of scanners, software and services are available worldwide, and through our network of channel partners.Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of electrical and mechanical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires frequent travel to customer locations to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and ensure optimal system performance.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, and start up equipment at customer facilities.Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical issues.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.Conduct equipment inspections and provide customers with service recommendations.Document service activities, repairs, and parts usage through service reports.Train customers on proper equipment operation and routine maintenance procedures.Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company and customer safety requirements.Coordinate with technical support, engineering, and parts departments to resolve complex issues.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED; technical degree or vocational training preferred.3+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial equipment repair.Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including:AC/DC circuitsMotors and drivesSensors and controlsElectrical testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.)Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, including:Transport rollers, timing belts, DC motors, bearingsAbility to read electrical schematics.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Ability to travel up to [50-75%] as required.Preferred QualificationsAssociate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Technology.OSHA training or other safety certifications.Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent customer service and communication abilities.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to prioritize multiple service calls and projects.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bendAbility to work extended hours and occasional weekends as required.BenefitsCompetitive salarySign-On BonusCompany vehicleHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOngoing technical training and career developmentTravel reimbursement and per diem (when applicable)Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour contingent on level of experience.Sponsorship unavailable.Kodak Alaris is an Equal Opportunity Employer and strong advocate of workforce diversity.
