Do you enjoy educating clients because you know the "why" matters just as much as the "how"?If this sounds like you, keep reading…About the RoleThe Personal Trainer - Rehab Fitness Specialist role is perfect for someone who:Loves collaboration (you'll work closely with our DPTs and clinical team)Understands that training is not one-size-fits-allCan coach strength and functional training while respecting injuries, limitations, and long-term goalsYou'll be responsible for delivering thoughtful, customized training programs that align with physical therapy plans and medical guidance - all while creating a welcoming, encouraging experience for our clients.What You'll DoTrain clients 1:1 and in small groups using individualized and customized programsCollaborate with Doctors of Physical Therapy to support client progress with respect to past injury and medical history.Help clients to safely initiate or return to exercise without having to fear injury, re-aggravation, or plateaus/lack of outcomes.Develop meaningful training plans based around the emotional drivers and big goals of our clients.Coach proper movement patterns, strength progressions, and injury-aware training with an emphasis on movement and health education.Communicate clearly with the care team about client performance and feedbackCreate a motivating, safe, and judgment-free training environmentSupport clinic goals while always prioritizing client care and outcomesWho We're Looking ForAny of the following criteria and prior experience could be applicable for this position:Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, CSCS, or equivalent)Degree in Exercise Science or Exercise PhysiologyExperience working with clients who have injuries, limitations, or are post-PT (preferred)Strong personal experience in weight lifting and strength trainingThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:Strong understanding of biomechanics and movement qualityCoach-first mindset - empathetic, professional, and encouragingComfortable collaborating with medical professionalsReliable, communicative, and growth-orientedAligns with our brand and culture, embodying our Three E's: Energy, Education and EngagementWhy You'll Love Working HereOpportunity to represent and contribute to a brand associated with changing lives and having a tremendous and direct positive impact in our own community.Supportive, tight-knit team that actually communicatesClients who are invested, respectful, and motivatedNo pressure to "sell at all costs" - we lead with education and trustOpportunity to grow professionally in an integrated and modern healthcare settingWork with Doctors of Physical Therapy — not against protocolsThis Role Is Not For You IfYou don't enjoy working directly with people.You lack excitement and enthusiasm for exercise, wellness, and personal growthYou prefer generic workouts or high-volume, high-ego gym cultureYou're uncomfortable adapting exercises for injuries or limitationsYou don't enjoy collaboration or feedbackWho We Are:We are a therapist-owned Physical Therapy and Fitness clinic in Hermitage, PA, built to deliver the experience that patients, clients, and clinicians truly deserve.While most clinics focus on volume, we take a different approach.
