Cardiac Monitoring Nurse

General job duties. Types of procedures required. Cardiac Monitoring, Anti arrhythmia infusions. Post op Open heart surgery, throacotomy, AMI/Stemi. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Computerized charting, scanning of medications, Telemetrymetry. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Min 2 years recent Telemetrymetry experience. Cardiac Monitoring experience. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) Active BLS, NIHSS and ACLS - must be American Heart Assoc. Active MD or compact state RN license. Shift or schedule requirements. 12 hour shifts, every other weekend. No call. Holidays. Never alone. Floating to over units/departments. Only possible pull would be to medical surgical area. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 30 bed unit Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. 1:4-6 Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
