Details Level 1 trauma cardiac cath lab setting with 6 suites/labs Average of 10 to 15 cases per day Cath lab operates separately from IR and EP departments Uses EPIC EMR along with PACS and McKesson cardiology systems 9-hour day shifts with rotating weekends and holidays Weekly rotational call requirements, averaging 8-9 call shifts per month Call response time is 30 minutes from time of page Techs are not currently required to float Requirements Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required ARRT and BLS certification required IL license required if applicable Pediatric experience preferred but not required McKesson cardiology PACS experience preferred but not required EPIC EMR experience preferred Additional Information Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, and circulating Cardiologists are on call 24/7, 365 days a year Primary charge nurse covers 0600-1530 and does not routinely complete cases but will take call Mandatory call list is utilized when staff cannot fulfill their call shift Unit-specific orientation typically lasts 3 to 5 days Scrubs are provided by the hospital Holiday coverage is on a rotational basis Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction on eligibility Negative drug screen required for all panels American Traveler Job ID P-741826.
