As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist customers, employees, and visitors with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and carry authorized firearms in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess an Armed Guard Card or License. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
