Electrical Technician

Electrical Systems TechnicianResponsible for all aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation and repair of electrical systems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Inspects buildings, fixtures, machines and other structural and/or mechanical units, noting need for repair, performs minor and preventative maintenanceAssists other technicians on emergency and corrective maintenancePerforms maintenance work including detection and correction of mechanical systemsTroubleshoots and maintains electrical systems and life safety systemsWorks on active systems, energized and de-energized equipment in compliance with NFPA and other regulatory safety standardsMaintains a clean and safe work environmentAccurately maintains equipment inventory and historical recordsRequired Qualifications:Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalentOther Required Qualifications: Current, valid and unrestricted driver's licenseRequired Experience: Two (2) years related work experience in electrical, mechanical and life safety systemsProposed Salary: The budgeted salary range is $25.42 to $29.76 per hour.
