Loading Warehouse Associate

The Loading Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily outbound operations by safely and efficiently loading delivery trucks within the distribution facility. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, timely, and damage-free order fulfillment. The associate will work in a fast-paced, productivity-driven environment and is expected to demonstrate strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Load delivery trucks with customer orders accurately, efficiently, and in the correct sequence to support route delivery requirements.
2. Perform additional warehouse functions as needed, including sorting, staging, replenishment, or basic order handling.
3. Operate pallet jacks (manual or electric) as needed to move product safely throughout the facility.
4. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through consistent housekeeping and adherence to safety protocols.
5. Demonstrate a commitment to the company's core values and operational standards.
6. Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and team members regarding order status, loading progress, or issues requiring attention.
7. Participate in continuous improvement efforts by offering feedback and supporting process enhancements.
8. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment with a focus on accuracy and productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication).
• Basic computer skills (navigating the internet, using a keyboard, opening/saving documents).
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds infrequently.
• Ability to push, pull, grasp, and perform fine motor tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to work on uneven surfaces occasionally.
• Basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early start times or staying until work is complete.
• Strong performance history in areas such as teamwork, attendance, quality, and productivity.
• One (1) year of previous warehouse, loading, or distribution experience preferred.
