This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference with a manageable caseload of approximately 60 students, serving throughout the full school year. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience or internship in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Familiarity with various therapy models and approaches (articulation, language, fluency, AAC)
- Effective communication abilities with students, staff, and caregivers
- Commitment to full-time, onsite work for the full academic year
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students, providing assessments and direct therapy services
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Coordinate and consult with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Collect data and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Attend team meetings, professional development, and school events as required
