Application Engineer

Crane Engineering Sales Inc seeks an Application Engineer to design and support fluid handling and process equipment solutions for municipal, industrial, and sanitary customers across the Midwest. In this role, you'll size and select pumps, valves, and filtration and wastewater systems, prepare technical proposals, and collaborate closely with sales and service teams. You'll visit customer sites to evaluate applications, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements. Responsibilities

• Design and apply fluid handling and process equipment solutions for municipal, industrial, and sanitary customers
• Develop technical proposals, specifications, and cost estimates for pumps, valves, filtration, and wastewater systems
• Support sales team with application engineering, sizing, and selection of equipment
• Visit customer sites to evaluate systems, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver engineered systems and upgrades
• Provide technical support, training, and documentation to customers and colleagues
• Ensure solutions meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement, project reviews, and knowledge sharing
