Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a 30-bed emergency department, including a trauma bay.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for accurate documentation and patient information management.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting EKG strips.
• Collaborate with Hospitalist or Intensivist in-house for comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to the facility's scrub policy, wearing navy scrubs and optional navy scrub jackets.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with significant experience in emergency department settings.
• Mandatory TNCC certification, with experience in Level II Trauma preferred.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
• A minimum of two years of emergency room nursing experience required.
• Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam through Relias within the last 12 months.
