Erath County Appraisal District We are accepting applications for the position of Residential Professional Appraiser . Appraiser responsibilities include: Field and office work associated with the appraisal of rural, residential, and commercial property. Confidently interact with the public/property owners in a professional and courteous manner. Defend appraisal values and techniques during protest times. Staffing requirements: High School diploma or GED (college degree preferred). Current or ability to obtain an RPA license. Self‑motivated with the ability to sustain a strong work environment. Current Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Agreement to and passing of a background check. Benefits: This full‑time position includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid holidays. Salary is based on experience.
