Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' emotional and behavioral health, specifically focusing on mood disorder symptoms related to relationships and familial issues.

  • Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans that align with each client's unique goals and preferences, ensuring a holistic approach to therapy.

  • Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support client progress.

  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders and the various treatment options available, fostering self-care and resilience.

  • Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to adapt to changes in their situation and needs.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients, addressing both mental health and potential medical concerns.

  • Stay current with research and best practices in mental health treatment to continually refine and improve therapeutic strategies.

  • Maintain comprehensive and private client records in accordance with all legal and ethical standards.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, professional development, and case consultations to enhance community within the therapeutic team.

  • Advocate for clients, promoting mental health awareness and decreasing stigma within the community.

This position primarily focuses on clients who are navigating divorce and complex relational dynamics. You will work with individuals and families, helping them to process their experiences, develop adaptive coping strategies, and rebuild their lives with resilience and hope. Your expertise will be critical in guiding clients through their emotional challenges and towards healthier relationships.

Qualifications\n

  • Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is a must.

  • A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
