Healthcare Project Manager (Hybrid) – Grand Rapids, MI Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Hybrid) Schedule: On-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; remote Monday/Friday Pay: $60.00/hr Summary Hiring a Payment Integrity Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale healthcare initiatives focused on claims operations, payment integrity programs, vendor deliverables, and SLA performance . This Payment Integrity Project Manager will drive projects from concept through implementation, building project plans, budgets, schedules, and cross-functional workstreams while influencing stakeholders across business, operations, and vendor teams. Ideal candidates bring strong healthcare/claims experience, proven leadership on complex implementations, and excellent communication in a matrix environment. Responsibilities Lead mid-to-large, high-priority healthcare projects from intake through go-live and stabilization Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, milestones, and resource needs Coordinate multiple workstreams to ensure on-time delivery within budget and scope Manage vendor tasks and deliverables from contracting through completion; track performance to SLA agreements Facilitate stakeholder alignment, governance routines, and executive-ready status reporting Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control to protect timelines and outcomes Partner with project managers/workgroup leads to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance across components Document processes, procedures, outcomes, and continuous improvement opportunities Mentor and guide less experienced project managers; reinforce project management standards and methodology Act as a change agent to drive adoption of project management best practices and toolsets Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s preferred 3+ years relevant experience (5+ preferred) in project/program leadership Must-have: Healthcare claims experience , strong influencing skills, and proven delivery of large complex implementations Experience managing vendors, deliverables, and escalations tied to service outcomes and SLAs Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across operations, IT, analytics, and external partners Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and strong documentation discipline PMP certification preferred (PgMP a plus) Nice to have: clinical editing, CMS knowledge, medical coding, payment integrity program exposure Keywords: Payment Integrity Project Manager, Payment Integrity Project Specialist, Healthcare Project Manager, Claims Project Manager, Program Manager, Vendor Management, SLA, PMI, PMP, Healthcare Claims, Implementation, Stakeholder Management, Process Improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
