Join our Radiation Therapy team at Mojave Radiation Oncology Center where your skills will directly impact the health and comfort of patients in your community./ppThis PRN position has an anticipated hourly pay range of $43.30 $61.80./ppRadiation Therapy contributes to Cardinal Health by ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy to a patients tumor using a linear accelerator machine. The Radiation Therapist is responsible for administering prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts, using radiation therapy equipment, according to established practices and standards./ppThis is a PRN opportunity to help cover for high volume and planned or unplanned time off./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliAdminister radiation therapy as prescribed by the physician./liliVerify prescribed treatment dose before each treatment; verify fields to be treated, and angles to be used./liliAssure placement of protective devices in order to shield otherwise healthy exposed tissue of patients./liliSimulates patients using simulator, CT scanner or other devices to accurately localize treatment areas./liliDisplay professional conduct essential to the well being of the radiation oncology patient./liliMaintain accurate and detailed treatment chart documentation./liliObserve the clinical progress of the patient, use clinical decision making skills to recognize and report any signs of complications./liliAdhere to radiation safety procedure protocol./liliPerform machine safety checks; know safe limits of equipment operations, and report abnormalities or inconsistencies to the Center Leader./liliWork closely with the Radiation Oncologist and the therapy team in the preparation of a treatment plan./liliAdhere to the Radiation Therapist Code of Ethics./liliRegular attendance and punctuality./liliAbility to be on call./liliContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed./liliEnsures that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved./liliPerform any other functions as required by management./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliARRT Board eligible/liliARRT Board certified, preferred/liliBachelors Degree in science, or equivalent experience, preferred/liliGraduate of an accredited school of radiation therapy technology/liliCertification in Radiation Therapy Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist/liliAbility to work a flexible schedule as needed/li/ulh3What is expected of you and others at this level/h3ulliApplies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks/liliWorks on projects of moderate scope and complexity/liliIdentifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve/liliApplies judgment within defined parameters/liliReceives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects/liliWork reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy/li/ulpAnticipated pay range: $43.30 per hour - $61.80 per hour/ppBonus eligible: No/ppBenefits: Paid time off in compliance with applicable laws/ppApplication window anticipated to close: 5/11/2026 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible./ppThe hourly range listed is an estimate.
