CRITICAL CARE DIETITIAN

TouchPoint is hiring a Nutrition Support Dietitian in Grand Blanc, MI, at the Henry Ford Genesys Hospital. The role is in an inpatient setting, scheduled Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. Requirements : Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR); CNSC credential preferred or ability to obtain within one year of hire. Position Details : Provide advanced clinical nutrition care to critically ill patients in the ICU, oversee in‑house TPN management across multiple units, and offer expertise on MPU feeding tube recommendations and nutrition support. Support departmental initiatives including Food Service, intern precepting, and Resident/Fellow education. Salary : $65,000–$70,000 per year, or based on experience. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans Educate patients, families, staff, and community on nutrition and lifestyle strategies for sustainable wellness Apply latest research and align with diet manuals, policies, and protocols Contribute to QAPI initiatives for patient care and clinical excellence Collaborate with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals Mentor and support staff and dietetic interns through education and training Qualifications Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged Why This Role?
