Construction Project Accountant

An innovative architectural and design firm in Boston is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to join their growing team. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 annually, along with an annual bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities Collaborate directly with project managers and partners to manage project budgets and proposals. Ensure project financials are accurate, including general ledger entries, financial statements, and journal entries. Handle billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor/consultant communications to maintain data accuracy. Perform budget versus actual analysis and monitor projects to stay within budget parameters. Use Deltek accounting software and Excel (VLookups, Pivot Tables, Macros). Prior exposure to Power BI is a plus. Required Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 3 to 7 years of accounting experience, ideally from architecture, engineering, construction, or real estate sectors. Experience with construction or development projects. Proficiency with Deltek or similar ERP programs. Advanced Excel as it relateswith project accounting processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
