Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
Provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Collaborates as an essential member of the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality speech therapy services.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient information prior to evaluations and throughout treatment plans.
• Conduct and document comprehensive patient assessments to determine communication and swallowing needs.
• Assist in collecting data on patient outcomes to monitor progress.
• Instruct and supervise support staff and assistants in accordance with state and national Practice Acts.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support patient care objectives.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Possess a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
• Have at least two years of recent speech-language pathology experience preferred.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Be certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or have equivalent credentials.
• Demonstrate excellent assessment and communication skills, along with a commitment to patient-centered care.
