You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.Responsibilities:Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patientsDiagnose and establish patient treatment plansMonitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behaviorCommunicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient careEducate patients about health maintenance and disease preventionFacilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilitiesMaintain accurate patient medical recordsProvide advice and emotional support to patients and their family membersQualifications:Graduate of a program in respiratory therapy approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association.Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner LicenseUpon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationWithin 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart AssociationWithin 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association2 years Full time hospital based acute care Respiratory Care Practitioner experience that includes Critical Care, Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Child Birth Center, Nursery, Neonatal ICU, and PACU. Current RCP's with certification and experience meet requirement for role.
