Rise Neurorehab Institute is a future-forward nonprofit neurorehab organization committed to identifying and removing the barriers that prevent individuals from receiving the post-acute care they need and deserve, all while helping to regain function, reignite courage, and rekindle hope after neurological injury or illness.

Rise is building a new model of neurological care in Georgia. Opening in Sandy Springs, GA in Winter 2027, our initial multi-disciplinary outpatient facility is only the beginning. Rise is also developing a comprehensive, state-of-the-art neurorehabilitation residential facility — a multi-acre campus designed to unite rehabilitation medicine and therapies with similar-missioned community organizations in a way that has never existed in our region. This future home will offer 75+ beds for specialized residential rehabilitation, comprehensive care from rehab experts, cutting-edge technology and innovation, and community programs that provide a complete continuum of post-acute care for individuals and families throughout their recovery journey.

Practice Manager

As the Practice Manager at Rise Neurorehab Institute, you’ll serve as the senior operational leader of our outpatient program, ensuring the administrative, financial, and operational functions run smoothly so our clinical team can focus on delivering high-quality neurorehabilitation care. You’ll oversee financial performance and revenue cycle management, manage day-to-day office operations, and partner closely with clinical leadership to support quality, compliance, and accreditation readiness across the practice. Job Responsibilities

• Partner with the Executive Director, physician, and clinical and administrative staff to direct day-to-day practice operations, including staffing, resources, access, patient throughput, and operational issue resolution.
• Oversee daily office operations, including recordkeeping and reporting systems, payroll preparation, tracking of required physician authentication on delegated records, vendor payment processing (including invoice entry in NetSuite), supply requisition, scheduling, and other clerical services.
• Monitor and track financial performance, accounts receivable, and budget-to-actual results in coordination with the Executive Director.
• Oversee the organization's outsourced revenue cycle management (RCM) vendor, ensuring accurate charge capture, timely reconciliation, effective denial management, and overall accountability for RCM performance impacting patient throughput and financial viability.
• Work collaboratively with the Executive Director, Medical Director, and Clinical Supervisor to support quality control and infection prevention protocols across medical and therapy service areas, role clarity across clinical and administrative staff, and ongoing competency documentation.
• Actively participate in program development, policy establishment, resource utilization and financial/strategic planning, and performance improvement activities across Rise's operations — identifying and resolving operating challenges and pursuing opportunities to improve access, quality, revenue, and expense control.
• Maintain strong relationships with staff and providers, involving them in developing systems that support service growth, cost-effective care delivery, and staff/patient satisfaction.
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including referral sources, vendors, and community partners, communicating progress toward key performance indicators.
• Provide patient and family/caregiver communication tailored to their needs, fostering a positive customer service experience.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing administrative support to providers and clinical staff, including scheduling, PTO coordination, expense reimbursement, and clinic initiatives.
• Provide orientation, training, and cross-disciplinary skill-sharing to newly hired or existing staff on Rise's clinical protocols, documentation standards, and program-specific procedures.
• Supports Rise's ongoing pursuit of CARF accreditation by maintaining compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to identify and resolve ethical, strategic, and operating problems that require innovative solutions based on extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across an interdisciplinary team.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Proficiency with clinical documentation systems and electronic health records.
• Advanced organizational skills necessary to efficiently prioritize and complete a variety of tasks and provide leadership to direct reports.
• Knowledge of facilities management, vendor coordination, and day-to-day operational logistics necessary to support clinical service delivery.
• Ability to plan and manage time effectively and execute projects to completion with appropriate independence.
• Ability to actively participate in program development, policy establishment, and performance improvement activities across Rise's clinical and operational service lines.
• Knowledge of resource utilization management, revenue cycle management, and financial and strategic planning practices as they relate to outpatient practice operations.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with referral sources, vendors, and community stakeholders to support organizational growth and quality.
• Effective supervisory skills, including performance management and full oversight of direct reports, and administrative logistics coordination for clinical staff receiving administrative oversight only.
• Knowledge of CARF accreditation standards and the ability to support organizational accreditation readiness across administrative and operational functions.
• Willingness to adapt to changing work demands and environments.

Physical Demands

• Occasional movement about the clinic and administrative areas throughout the workday.
• May lift a negligible weight frequently and up to 10 lbs occasionally (e.g., files, office supplies).
• Repetitive hand, wrist, and upper extremity movements during computer use, documentation, and administrative tasks.
• Ability to sit for extended periods during documentation, administrative tasks, and meetings.
• Visual acuity sufficient to read financial reports, clinical documentation for administrative/compliance purposes, and computer/equipment displays.
• Hearing sufficient to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, and to monitor facility alerts.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree.

Required Licensure / Certification:

• BLS certification (active within two (2) weeks of hire and maintained annually).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in healthcare administration (MHA) or business administration (MBA).
• At least three (3) years of experience in healthcare practice management, medical office management, or outpatient clinic operations.
