Classification: Hourly - Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5AM-3PM

What You'll Do

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined and assembled components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and inspection plans.
• Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, ring and plug gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Identify, document, and contain nonconforming product.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
• Communicate quality requirements and inspection findings with production personnel.
• Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain inspection equipment and ensure tools remain clean and in proper working order.
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Basic computer skills (email, documentation, accessing work instructions).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent visual inspection skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with production teams.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience inspecting precision machined components.
• Knowledge of first article or in-process inspections.
• Experience working in a CNC machining environment.
• Passion for continuous improvement and problem solving.
