Direct Support Professional

Job Summary Devereux is offering a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position in Swedesboro, NJ. The DSP will provide care and support to individuals in need, working with multidisciplinary teams to help them achieve daily living skills and personal goals. Responsibilities Ensure our individuals are safe and healthy while attending the day program. Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in achieving daily living skills such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping. Supervise the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of individuals. Plan and participate in community‑based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings for individuals to be involved with. Schedule and transport individuals to and from the day program. Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Valid non‑provisional driver’s license. 18 years of age or older. Ability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
