Evening Porter
Job Summary:
Hedgewood Assisted Living, a leading provider of senior care and services, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Evening Porter to join our team at our Beacon, New York location. As an Evening Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional housekeeping and maintenance services. About the Role:
As an Evening Porter, you will be responsible for:
Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of common areas and public spaces
Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, fixtures, and equipment
Restocking supplies and linens as needed
Performing minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and unclogging drains
Responding to resident requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless care and service delivery
Requirements:
1 year of experience (training provided)
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
