Schedule: Onsite | Hybrid (4 days in office) Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Compensation: $65,000/yr - $77,000/yr About the Role Join an industrial engineering company specializing in custom conveyor systems design, commissioning, and integration. We’re looking for an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer eager to grow their skills in drafting, design, and project execution. This is a contract-to-hire role with strong internal promotion opportunities. What You’ll Do Design and lay out mechanical equipment, components, and systems. Draft and detail engineering drawings using tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, MicroStation. Maintain project drawing files and prepare submittal documentation. Read and interpret shop drawings. Collaborate with senior engineers and attend client meetings. Optional travel to customer sites for product intake and installations. Participate in on-the-job training to accelerate your career growth. Must-Haves Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (GPA 3.7+ preferred; School of Mines graduates preferred). 0–2 years of experience in drafting/design. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, MicroStation). Ability to pass background check and drug test. Nice-to-Haves Internship or project experience with conveyor systems.
