Landscape Maintenance Technician

Knapp Valley Gardens is hiring a Landscape Maintenance Technician. Job Duties: Responsible for maintaining client properties performing tasks such as weeding, deadheading, pruning and applying chemicals & fertilizers as needed. Plant annuals, bulbs, perennials, shrubs and trees. Install mulch in landscape beds. Tree, shrub, and plant examination and treatment. Prune trees, shrubs and hedges. Operate various tools and landscape maintenance equipment to complete projects. Complete daily paperwork tracking job time and materials used. Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner. Requirements: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of experience is preferred. Plant knowledge and identification, specifically trees, shrubs, and perennials. Ability to follow safe working procedures. Must possess a valid driver's license and obtain a chauffeur's license. Must possess or acquire a commercial Pesticide Applicators License with 3A, 3B, 6 endorsements. Job requires ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials. Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, and cold.
