Komline-FluidQuip is looking for a welder to join the team! This role is responsible for welding and fabrication of large-scale industrial equipment using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes. The Welder will follow specifications, drawings, and quality standards to support production, repair, and custom fabrication.


Role and Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on stainless steel, and other alloys as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, schematics, and work instructions
• Set up welding equipment, select proper filler materials, and adjust settings for material type and thickness
• Prepare materials for welding including cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fixturing
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy
• Operate hand tools, grinders, torches, and fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, rollers, and press break machines
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and shop standards
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional departments to meet customer demands
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to welding/fabrication area

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma and 3+ years of welding experience
• Technical certification a plus
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes
• Ability to weld in multiple positions working with fabricated assemblies
• Knowledge of weld symbols and basic metallurgy
• Ability to use measuring tools accurately (tape measure, calipers, squares)
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision welding work
