Medical Assistant - Full and Part Time Options Available Job Tracking ID :512527-890059 Job Level :Entry Level (less than 2 years) Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers, Inc. is looking for atalented Medical Assistant to step into our fast-paced facility! Summary: The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers with preliminary patient care in a sensitive manner. Ideal candidate should have prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in a high-volume setting. Hours: The full-time position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule. General daytime hours Monday - Friday with at least one late shift per week. Position Responsibilities/Duties: Greet and room patients, conduct initial patient interview Record patient vital signs and initial patient complaint(s) Select and prepare proper instruments for procedure(s) Assists physicians with exams and treatments Performs antiseptic duties of sanitation, disinfections and sterilization procedures Maintain supplies in each exam room Perform other tasks as assigned by the DON, RN, LPN Experience and Skills: Position Requirements: At least 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory or primary care setting Diploma or certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program Active RMA or CMA CPR/BLS through the American Heart Association Familiarity with medical terminology Excellent verbal and written communication skills High school diploma or equivalent Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
