Behavioral Health Advocate

Job Overview Salary: $58-60,000/year Responsibilities Assess and build therapeutic relationships with participants to assist with client-centered interventions aimed at reducing barriers. Provide holistic individualized supportive services to assist in participants’ professional and personal developmental needs and opportunities. Provide individual coaching, psychoeducation, and facilitate groups when applicable. Identify beneficial community resources for participants and coordinate external referrals when appropriate. Uphold confidentiality standards with all client interactions, in accordance with your advanced degree and/or licensing board. Maintain organized, confidential, and well-documented participant case notes in accordance with program standards and with ethical consideration for the licensure board. Other opportunities as available. Qualifications Master’s degree required in social work, counseling, counseling education, or related field, with 2-3 years of clinical experience. Firm grasp of ethical expectations and ability to maintain ethical standards without onsite supervision. Experience counseling individuals and families. Ability to prioritize tasks and strong documentation skills. Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment. Customer service experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Florida Workforce Professional Certification Tier I required (must be completed within 30 days of employment). Valid driver’s license and automobile required.
