Family Practice - Without OB Physician

We are seeking an ABFM-certified Family Medicine physician with at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience. We have an ongoing Emergency Medicine locum opportunity in Texas offering guaranteed hours, flexible scheduling, and strong specialty support.
Assignment Details
- Ongoing assignment beginning October 2026
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- No call
- Flexible day, evening, night, and occasional 12-hour shifts
Practice Setting
- Hospital Emergency Department
- Epic EMR
- APP support available
- Orthopedic, GI, Tele-Neurology, Tele-Nephrology, and Tele-Psychiatry backup
Department Highlights
- Approximately 23,500 annual visits
- 64 patients per day
- 15 ED beds plus 2 Fast Track beds
- Collaborative physician and APP coverage
Requirements
- MD or DO
- ABFM Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Family Medicine residency
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience at facilities with 10,000+ annual visits
- Active Texas license preferred
- ACLS and ATLS required
Credentialing
- Standard hospital onboarding
- Epic proficiency test-out available
- Required orientation and online training modules
- Standard immunization requirements apply
