And it's the perfect place to take your hospitality career to new heights.The Back Waiter (Busser) plays a key support role in the seamless execution of service, maintaining the flow and rhythm of the dining room. In this role, you will be responsible for building and resetting tables, marking flatware and glassware, running and clearing courses, maintaining water and beverage service, and ensuring the Captains and Lead Servers are consistently supported. This position requires speed, precision, and a proactive mindset to uphold Michelin-level dining and Forbes 5-star service standards.This position is based at our JUSTIN Estate: 11680 Chimney Rock Road, Paso Robles, CA 93446. The work schedule is Thursday - Sunday (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM or closing). This position requires weekend availability and the ability to work late nights.Job DescriptionAssist with dining room setup prior to service, including but not limited to: linens, glassware, silverware, and tabletop details, fans/heaters and other equipmentMaintain the cleanliness of the interior/exterior of guest areasMaintain water service and refill beverages promptly and discreetlyDeliver and clear food courses in coordination with the Captain and kitchen within FORBES 5-star serviceAccurately mark tables with appropriate flatware and glassware prior to each courseMaintain clean and organized service stations and sidework areas throughout the shiftReset and flip tables post-departure with attention to detail and speedSupport Captains with guest needs and respond quickly to requests during serviceBreak down and close dining room post-service, including but not limited to polishing, organizing, and restocking service tools, fans/heatersMust be in approved clean and will maintained uniform, natural and clean appearance and cleanliness about their personQualificationsThe Back Waiter (Busser) must possess a strong sense of urgency, organization, and situational awareness, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; they should know proper table settings, course progression, and stemware, communicate clearly with the service team, and maintain a discreet, polished presence in the dining room.3+ years experience in serving at restaurants (casual) OR 2+ years experience as a back waiter in a Forbes 5-star or Michelin restaurantsAbility to work full-time (30-35 hours per week) and late nights, weekends, and holidays Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in EnglishStrong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail are essentialValid Food Handler’s CardClear and calm verbal communicationSolution-oriented, skilled at proactively identifying service challenges and supporting servers to ensure flawless fine dining experiencesAbility to work quickly in a high-paced, physically and mentally demanding environmentPay Rate: $19.50 - $22.00 an hour.
