Compliance Lawyer

Interim Compliance Lawyer position working for the large global and growing professional services firm. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

The role will report into the Legal, Risk & Compliance Manager with responsibility for conflict clearance and client approval process, including acting as the first escalation point for potential commercial or legal conflict or risk issues identified by the team.

This role would suit someone with conflicts experience gained within a law firm or other professional services environment or a lawyer with relevant corporate, commercial, litigation and/or compliance or company secretarial experience who has worked in a professional services environment and has excellent research and analytical skills. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, an ability to anticipate risks and develop solutions and a high level of attention to detail is required. Hybrid working ideally Sydney based however open to other locations.
