Job Summary AFC Urgent Care Southwest Austin is seeking board-certified physician assistants or nurse practitioners to join our Southwest Austin clinic, located in the Hobby Lobby parking lot next to Chase Bank in southwestern Austin TX 78749. Qualified Candidates Board certified mid-level / advanced practice providers with unrestricted Texas medical and active DEA license Comfortable seeing patients of all ages, from infants to senior citizens Skilled in performing minor office procedures like suturing, I&D, etc. and confident in treating most acute illnesses and injuries in pediatric and adult patients Ability to perform preliminary readings on x-rays and proficient in interpreting EKGs Qualifications Master’s Degree from an Accredited University Licensed as Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) OR Physician Assistant (PA) Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner OR Board-Certified Physician's Assistant Current unrestricted Texas State and DEA License 1+ years’ experience in Urgent Care 1+ years’ experience working independently as Solo Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certified required and Advance Life Support (ACLS) certified preferred. DOT Certification required Incentives Competitive compensation.
